The Fair Credit System
Our platform uses a fair and transparent credit system that makes buying and selling easier, smarter, and more sustainable for students.
When you sell items such as furniture or clothing, you can receive credits instead of cash – and those credits are worth slightly more than direct payouts. This means: choosing credits gives you extra value when you later buy pre-loved or new items through the app.
Of course, you still have the option to request a direct money transfer if you prefer.
This flexibility ensures that every student can decide individually what fits best – whether you want to save more with credits or cash out instantly.
Our credit system encourages sustainability, fairness, and affordability within the student community. Each transaction helps to reduce waste, extend product lifecycles, and make conscious consumption both rewarding and convenient.
Storage
At MIMO Storage, we make moving in and out simple, flexible, and sustainable.
Students can either sell items directly to MIMO – we store them temporarily in our facilities and then resell them through the platform to new owners. This way, furniture, clothes, and everyday essentials get a second life, while students save time and effort.
Additionally, our storage option is available for buyers, such as incoming exchange students, who want to purchase items before arriving. For a small extra fee, we keep the items safe until their arrival or delivery.
All items are stored under clean, secure, and student-friendly conditions.
